This charming little primer is the seventh reprinting of a unique early instruction book by a famous expert of the time late of the 5th R.I. Lancers in two parts. Firstly with the various aspects of the art of riding and secondly succinct advice to both novices and experts regarding care and training of horses, including stabling, common ailments and “vices”. An old book but it is still highly regarded in the sport literature.
