Description
8vo 217pp. Hardcover in grey cloth with a small green embossed decoration on front board and non price-clipped d/w worn at edges and corners with a small torn portion missing from rear outer corner and lower spine edge still in overall good condition now protected by clear archival covrering, text in good condition with some minor soiling and tanning and foxing throughout as expected but no prior owner markings obvious. Walling points out in this now very scarce edition that we “seem more and more to need gardens in which we can live and relax, rather than those in which we work” A colour frontis and 24 pages of b/w photo illustrations add materially to the beauty of this edition.
