Description
Heavily worn, creased along map folds with small holes and erosions at fold corners but totally intact. Newly wooden framed on olive green backing, this original linen-backed 1916 WWI ordnance survey map by the British War Office in October 1915 incorporates both Amiens and Villers-Bretonneux and has been obviously heavily used in the war yet has remained intact with now an extraordinary patina of age at over a hundred years old.
