Roy 8vo, XIV, 224pp. Hardcover in olive green cloth with gilt details on spine only with price-clipped, undamaged d/w both in fine condition and protected in clear archival covering, text is likewise in excellent condition with green photograpic design endpapers with two minor inconspicuous ink dots on top edge and alsoa neat black letter P on bottom edge. It is otherwise totally unmarked by any prior owner being really “as-new.” ‘Kenneth Grahame :A Biography’ was first published in 1959 so this volume is redesigned, edited and abridged with multiple illustrations and b/w and coloured photos now included by Peter Green, who is now Professor of Classics in Austin, Texas, while remaining a member of the Royal Society Of Literature from 1956. This beautiful volume is really a “must” for all those still holding Ratty, Toad, Mole and Badger close to their heart.
