4to, VI, 175pp. Hardcover with orange cloth boards with d/w in very good condition with minor shelf-wear at edges, text in excellent, unmarked condition too. A most interesating and accurate book, depicting everything the casual observer and historian would want or need to know regarding all aspects of colonial buildings in the state. Many of these buildings are now dilapidated but some have been restored to an excellent functional state and in this work, the author not only delves into their histories but also describes the construction detail and techniques and then the function as well. Excellent and inspirational for all those restoring old outbuildings and even country houses too.
