This edition was published in 2004 to mark the 25th Anniversary of the Eryldene Trust based in Eryldene at 17 McIntosh St. Gordon NSW.. The original was read and approved by the subject E. G. (Gowrie) Waterhouse (1881- 1977) just before his death a few months before the first publication. Famously known for his pioneering work on camelias, having rescued the species from neglect and hence becoming world -renowned., Professor Waterhouse was also a great scholar, teacher, artist, philosopher and traveller and this little book is an excellent description of his life and achievments with numerous b/w and colour photos included as a central insert.
