48mo (7 x 10.5 cms) 48pp. Dark grey soft cover with faded title embossed on the front with two very sound but lightly rusting spine staples still in good condition, text in very good condition with no internal pen markings or tears. One of the very rarest of Australian golfing books or pamphlets approaching its hundredth year and although well thumbed, it has clearly been kept under cover for most of its life. Full of simple advice and relevant golfing records punctuated by b/w photos of past and present 1929 golfing champions, it was published as a free booklet and distributed to the golfing fraternity then as a non too subtle advertisement for various insurance policies with the last ten pages devoted to the publisher’s products. Quite simply this tiny giveaway should have perished many years ago and is a true rarity still in great condition.
