LXIX, 200pp. Hardcover in pale olive green cloth with light green titles on front board and spine that is still firm though edges are slightly scuffed with very minor shop soiling and edge tanning though the book is in good condition overall with no d/w present, All text and the twenty-three excellent colour illustrations plus frontis remain in a near pristine state, devoid of any damage or foxing. In this series were four volumes about the R.A.N. (of which this volume is the fourth), four volumes about the First A.I.F., one volume about Second A.I.F,four volumes about Australian Military Forces, one about the Volunteer Defence Corps and four volumes about the R.A.A.F., This fourth Navy book is one of the least common of them all and published just at the cessation of WWII, with serving personnel recording their Navy Service achievments in the war. Still highly valued by current and ex-serving personnel.
