Sq4to, VII, 176pp. Hardcover in lemon yellow cloth with blue titles only on the firm spine with minor shelf wear with scuffing and light soiling with a pictorial laminated d/w in excellent condition now protected by clear archival covering, text and the b/w photos and illustrations throughout remain in a pristine state though there is early foxing and staining to both front and rear ep’s and pastedowns with prior owner’s name in neat pen on top right corner of ffep, but it is devoid of further annotations or marks elsewhere, thereby remaining in overall very good or better condition. Animals have been a constantly recurring theme throughout the work of Henry Moore and this book casts an important new light on Moore that is likely to intrigue both devotees and relative newcomers to his work.
