Oblong 4to, 248pp. Hardcover with black boards in excellent condition with d/w in very good condition with very slight shelf-wear only, text is in very good condition with foxing on the verso of each free endpaper. It is rare that one can say a book has stunning photography in b/w only but this is such a case with each photograph composed to perfection to the point where it could easily be used in a formal course on photography. There are entries from each of the six states though with such ann enormous subject there are many towns not included with only four in Tasmania and Victoria and six in New South Wales. Nevertherless this is an Australian Classic by the famous architect Philip Cox.
