A compilation of forty original sepia photographs taken by the Reverend Charles Dodgson (Lewis Carroll) and accidentally discovered in 1947 by the photography historian Professor Helmut Gernsheim who also includes an interesting introduction and timeline of Dodgson. Each photo of a little girl occupies the full page in various photographic dimensions as he was developing his concept of the timeless Alice.
