Description
4to, Parts III, 221pp. Laminated boards with cloth spine, text in excellent condition. Inscribed by the author to Trevor Howells the Sydney Achitect. This is a history of facade colours, including colour theory and practice, including pigments and surfaces based on an exploration of aged Copenhagen facades even back to the early 1700’s. Best read as an entertaining account of the changing colours of Copenhagen, it is also a technical guide about colour schemes and facade restoration.
