8vo, V, 67pp. Pictorial two toned boards in yellow and blue in very good condition and price-clipped d/w with 1cm tear on top edge and minor grease staining on lower half now protected in clear archival covering, text in very good condition with no prior owner markings at all. This is the original edition of the Muddle headed Wombat series that started firstly as a feature on the ABC radio Children’s Session.. It was reprinted almost annually for several years after 1962 and remains a delightful story with beautiful two colour illustrations by Noela Young. This edition not noted by Muir.
