Description
Cr8Vo, 247pp. Hardcover, d/w in fair condition, complete but with one neat tear on spine, price clipped with significant foxing and discolouration however, protected by clear archival covering, text in good condition but with a few markings on external boards. Non library and no prior owner identification but appropriate minor top and foredge flecking. Obviously a rare genuine first edition in Australia and it is over sixty five years old now. This is arguably Greene’s best known but most contentious work and is often seen as a clever critique of America’s entry into their Vietnam War. A literary masterpiece that has developed genuine character in its shelf appearance now.
