8vo, 224pp. Dark blue publisher’s cloth with gilt titles on spine in very good condition with slightly bumped corners and a glossy d/w in excellent condition illustrated with Arthur Streeton’s Golden Summer painting and other books of the Australian Classics series adveretised on the rear flap, text is in pristine condition, barely cover broken so the book is certainly near-fine overall. Niland’s seminal work that was made into a film then later a mini-series. A very pretty example for readers of this wonderful story.
