Omond, G.W.T
1908. Adam & Charles Black , London, England

This is another of the famous 20/- A & C Black Colour Books published between 1901 and 1921 apparently in competition with the Baedecker Guides of the time but this copy is not a first edition with the title page bearing a red, not a black, heraldic shield declaring it was one of many reprints that first year of publishing. Number 5 in the Inman Collector's Guide nevertheless it is a beautiful reminder of a bygone era of travel.
