Chess Traps and Strategems
unknown.

Conciseness is the key to the value of this quaint reference said to be the 16th edition but is undated. Part I. deals with "Traps in the Opening" and Part II is labelled "Miscellaneous". There are 134 examples with chess diagrams of situations exhibiting the appropriately discussed traps and stratagems. Brevity is however unlikely to reduce the value of these examples to the established mid-range chess exponent. Only for a very keen beginner however.
