Exact reproduction of original version published c1890 but printed using modern lithography on antique vellum. Originally published around 1900 by McLoughlin Bros of NY one of the First publishers of children's books in the USA. The company was founded in 1827 and was the First American publisher to issue books with colour illustrations, done using stencils to hand colour wood engravings. About 1890 McLoughlin installed one of the early complete lithographic plants in the USA> Christmas Deights was part of the "Mistletoe" series and was one of the First books to be published in this new lithographic plant.
