The first Edition is noted as being the slim booklet published in 1969 by Trident but they are two totally different publications. This later volume is much expanded in detail and size and in the number and variety of black and white photos included. A detailed index includes multiple references including several relating to the tragic ferry Kuttabul sunk by mini submarine attack in WWII that could have caused a much greater loss of life in retrospect. An excellent and enjoyable reference about Sydney harbour, published in hardcover in 1975 by A H and A W Reed as well. This a clean and undamaged copy with the signature of the author on the title page being the only extra annotation.
