Said to contain both a warning and a challenge, a warning that "age-old inertia of the common man" has permitted inefficiency and abuses in our industry, schools and government and a challenge to scholars and leaders in all fields of national life to bring about positive change and hence a renaissance, largely by recapturing the faith and vision of the past Renaissance.
