The Channel Islands

Carey, Edith
1904 (First Edition). Adam & Charles Black , London, England

This is another of the famous A & C Black 20/- Colour Books printed between 1901 and 1921 apparently in competition to the Baedecker Guides of the time. One of 3000 copies, it describes the history and life of Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney and Sark and is comparatively rare in its original form. A beautiful reminder of travel in a bygone era.
