Cover Publisher's black cloth hardcover with gilt title original a firm spine with no lean but no golden gun illustration original the front board with minor bumping of front corners plus the appropriate illustrated price-clipped dust wrapper by richard Chopping in near fine condition with very minor abrasion and marking original upper two corners only and devoid of chipping, tears, sunlight damage original foxing with light edge tanning to upper flaps now well protected in removable clear archival covering.
Overall Green endpapers and internal text are in excellent condition with light flecking on top edge and bottom right corners only, devoid of prior owner details other than a small purple stamp from a newsagent in Australia on bottom corner of front free end paper verso.
