| Cover | Hardcover in dark green cloth boards with gilt spine titling in and excellent state with some scuffing of spine edges with a cream pictorial twice clipped dust wrapper that is lightly sun affected original the spine with minor foxing original the flaps. |
| Overall | Text is also very good with mustard colour front endpapers though it is inexplicably missing the rear endpaper,plus there is some foxing at front and rear of the book but the numerous black and white and colour illustrations throughout are all present and undamaged. |
