Vienna 1913 - Josef Hoffman's Gallia Apartment
Published to assist the exhibition about Josef Hoffman by the National Gallery of Victoria over two months in 1984. Hoffman worked in an era that was fundamental to the development of modern industrial design and this was an exhibition of his designs for the interiors, furnishings, furniture and artefacts for the Gallia family in 1913. These objects were actually acquired in 1976 and represent virtually the entire apartment designed by one of the world's key modern architects and designers pre World War I.
