This is a posthumous selection , published five years after her death with most of the articles written subsequent to her last gardening book published in 1912, when her experience had widened and she was able to reflect and reassess her achievements in gardening and garden design - still recognized as truly remarkable. This 1982 reprint has a colour. frontis with colour and black and white plates, excellent diagrams and a good index. Still a joy to read for any gardener and designer.
