Cover Hardcover in tan paper boards with quarter bound square spine in cream cloth unmarked by any shelf wear with title in gilt to the spine only with and illustrated reinforced non price-clipped dust wrapper protected by clear archival covering. two literary prize medals adorn the front cover relating to contribution to American literature for children.
Overall Internally the book is also in excellent condition with no markings from any prior owner original reader other than a tiny sticker mark at top right corner of front free end paper and very light minor foxing on endpapers, both front and rear.
