Cover Full burgundy gilt decorated calf leather with raised spine bands, marbled endpapers, A.e.g. and silk ribbon marker intact. in fine, as-new condition with spine very firm despite the large text-block, devoid of any marks original shelf wear with no dust wrapper as issued.
Overall Text is also pristine from the Classics of Medicine Library, being a faithful facsimile of of the 1858 edition and containing the original plate engravings as well.
