| Cover | Hardcover, in lime green cloth covered boards that have a light liquid stain original lower section of both boards and spine, (though with no markings original any internal text)., the spine being still sound and tight however plus a pictorial dust wrapper in a very good state other than a little chipping and a minor closed 1cm tear to upper edge, now protected in clear archival covering. |
| Overall | As above, the text is still pristine and devoid of prior owner notations with no foxing original age paper tanning on quality satin art paper. heavily illustrated with countless black and white Jekyll photographs of ornamental gardens and decorative elements, seen originally in the Country Life 1918 edition. all illustrations are present and undamaged. hence the book is overall still in an excellent near fine state with beautiful unmarked green garden map endpapers. |
