Larry Burrows - Compassionate Photograper
A near indescribable collection of an amazing body of work before the English photographer Larry Burrows died in a helicopter shot down in Vietnam heading for Laos in 1971. Published with the permission and assistance of his now widowed wife, this photography book is unlike any other, covering a wide variety of subjects including famine, deprivation and different wars with extreme pathos and inspiration too.. Not a book for the faint hearted but arguably one that everyone should pursue at some time in their adult life.
