| Cover | Hardcover in black faux-cloth with gilt titles original front board and spine in excellent condition together with a glossy pink illustrated dust wrapper in a likewise near-fine state now protected by clear archival covering. |
| Overall | Text, illustrations and black and white and colour photography are in pristine condition with no damage original markings to any page other than a small pen gift inscription on front free end paper and no foxing, though with the very slightest flecking of the top edge. light blue endpapers show the Physics Building of Sydney University by Wlkinson in 1922. |
