| Cover | Hardcover in publisher's crimson cloth with title in gold original the very sound spine. there is a large bump to the top right board corner but otherwise it is virtually excellent with a complete first edition unclipped dust wrapper showing chipping at all corners and is now protected by a removable clear covering as well. |
| Overall | The text is unmarked and in excellent order with minor fore edge flecking and the red top edge faded. a tiny black pen mark exists on the top right of front free end paper too. |
