The third of Milne's books about Christopher Robin , it is dedicated interestingly to Anne Darlington whom both families hoped would eventually marry Milne's son Christopher Robin and is a very famous poetry collection with each chapter being effectively a separate verse or group of verses that are a real delight for any reader.

Condition Report

Cover Hardcover in original burgundy smooth cloth boards, pictorially stamped (Christopher Robin) and ruled original front board in gilt as well as original the rear board (Pooh and Piglet) and also lettered and ruled original spine in gilt with t.e.g. the gilt pictures are beautifully clear and bright though there is a small (1 x 1.5cm) pink stain original front board. spine is faded and with worn ends plus with bumping and wear of all corners. the attractive Shepard endpapers are lightly toned but otherwise unmarked. there is no dust wrapper original marker ribbon present however and it is now protected by removable clear archival covering.
Overall Text is in very good condition with all pages appropriately lightly age-toned and none are loose original missing plus there is no hinging original margin cracking and the book is devoid of any foxing original any prior owner markings overall it remains in very good condition.
