| Cover | Burgundy cloth hardcover with silver titles original a strong spine with minor bruising original top and bottom edges only plus a worn price-clipped photograph illustrated dust wrapper with chipping original all edges and verse repaired tears to both ends of dust wrapper spine now protected by removable clear archival covering. |
| Overall | Internally very clean and undamaged though red top edge has now faded and there is a neat prior owner pen signature on the front free end paper with a small CapeTown bookshop label adhered to the front pastedown so the book is still in very good condition overall. |
