| Cover | Hardcover in original smooth green cloth boards with front cover pictorially stamped (Christopher Robin and Pooh) and ruled in gilt, with spine likewise ruled and lettered in gilt plus t.e.g. the beautiful endpapers showing the "100 Aker Wood" are devoid of any prior owner markings though they are lightly toned. a small neat name in ink from a prior owner exists original the flyleaf page preceding the half-title. overall in excellent bright condition with a sound but softening spine but with no dust wrapper and is now protected by a removable clear archival covering. |
| Overall | The text and Shepard's many black and white illustrations are in pristine condition with no foxing and with no loose pages other than a neat cracked margin between pages 16 and 17 plus all pages are appropriately lightly age-toned as befitting this century old childrens' literary masterpiece. |
